About the Program

A 90 Day Pre-Recorded Program. Rachel has divided the program into 10 sessions. Each session is short in duration and focuses on a specific body part. This program is for individuals who would like to learn how to lift and begin with an easy-to-follow program. All you need is a couple sets of dumbbells, a mat, and the option of a workout bench (step aerobic benches work great).

Rachel Seay

Rachel has dedicated her 25-year career to helping her clients succeed in their health and wellness journey. She has lost over 110 lbs herself and she brings not only her education in exercise science and holistic nutrition to the program but also personal experience of weight loss. She has trained nationally placed high-level figure and bodybuilder competitors and brings her experience of stage coaching and strength training to her programs. Rachel is passionate about weight lifting because she knows the longevity it brings to anyone, at any age, and hopes she can help you reach your goals too. Lift With Confidence and Reach Your Weight Loss Goals!

There are so many benefits from regular weight lifting sessions: added strength and confidence, stronger bones, fat burn and weight loss, better athletic performance, and fewer injuries. It’s a win-win-win-win. This program will take the guesswork out of lifting weights and create accountability. The best part is it's pre-recorded so you choose times that work for you as Coach Rachel leads you through the workouts. This is a no-frills program. It's simple and fun sessions with Rachel, owner of Inner Fit Studios. She loves to help people learn how to lift and would love to help you get started.

Pre-Recorded Workout Breakdown

The program is broken down into 10 sessions that will offer you lift workouts, cardio, and mobility for an overall program to help you get stronger and feel more confident, reach your goals, and lift with confidence. Each sessions is between 20-30 minutes and is pre-recorded so you fit your workouts in when it is convenient for you. Once you join, simply log in to your dashboard and follow along. The entire program is laid out for you to follow along and track your progress.

Your Fitness Dashboard

Everything in One Place

We like to make things easy for our members and we do this with a simple-to-follow dashboard that will have all your workouts, tools, and training resources in one place. You will be able to track your workout because once you are done you simply click "complete and continue" and it will lead you to the next session. Simple!

Equipment

Start Light & Progress

All you need is a couple of sets of dumbells which can be found online or in most retail stores and the option of a Step Bench, and a mat (dog is optional). Starting Dumbell Options: 5 lbs, 8 lbs, 10 lbs, 12 lbs, 15 lbs. As you get stronger, you may want to add heavier weights but we recommend starting where you are comfortable lifting. Kettlebells make a great option too along with bands for the legs. Keep it simple when you are starting.

If you take a look at the image, you will see the cross-section of an inactive 70-year-old man and an active 70-year-old man. This man in particular was a triathlete. As you can see in his cross-section, the a high degree of muscle mass he has. As both age, they will lead very different lifestyles. The inactive man will likely become very weak because he does not have the muscle mass to support active living and will end up bound to a wheelchair or walker. The active man will be able to walk, run, weight lift, and hike for many years to come simply because he preserved his muscle tissue through physical activity like his sports and weight lifting. Our fitness goal should be is to preserve our muscle tissue by lifting weights and moving (a lot). That's why Rachel created the Beginner Lift program, to make lifting weights an enjoyable experience for years to come!

  • How do I get started?

    Once you register, you will have access to your dashboard where the videos can be found. Choose a day that works for you and start.

  • What happens if I miss a day?

    The program is self-guided. There is a "complete & continue" button at the bottom of each video. Once you complete the workout, your next workout is ready to go so you don't have to worry about what day you are on, it's all taken care of for you.

  • How do I stay connected to Rachel and the Community?

    We have set up a Facebook Private group for you to connect with me, your coach, and the other people who are in the program. While it is a "self-led" program, you can still enjoy the benefits of a supportive community that will continue to grow!

  • I am curious about the videos

    This is not a fancy production company creating this program. This is me and you working out together online. I update the videos as you progress through the 3 months. I record the videos from my studio to create a program that is affordable and effective for people who are new to lifting weights. My goal is to help as many people as I can discover a love for lifting weights.

  • I am worried about getting hurt lifting weights

    This is a common fear for a lot of people. We are not doing the heavy compound lifting. These are simple, yet effective weight training workouts where you will see changes in your strength and body - without the injuries. Plus, as your coach, keeping form "clean" is important so I break down form.

  • I am worried about getting BULKY!

    Rest assured, it is pretty hard to get "bulky" from weight lifting at any level, especially for women. We do not have the testosterone required to get that kind of bulk. Plus, people who train competitively in bodybuilding who have muscle "bulk" train for hours a day to get that kind of size.
